Policies & Guidelines

LAKESIDE CABINS & RV PARK is a family-friendly campground, and the following rules have been established so that everyone may enjoy their visit with us.

Please be sure anyone staying / visiting in your cabin or RV site knows and understands what is allowed / not allowed. Anyone on site failing to follow policies will be asked to leave. Parents are responsible for their children’s behavior, whereabouts, and safety within the campground.

We reserve the right to ask any camper or guest whose conduct is causing a disturbance, endangering others in any way, interfering with the orderly operations of the campground, or breaking the rules of the campground to leave the premises. Refunds will not be granted.

GENERAL:

You must be 21 years of age to rent a Cabin/ RV site. NO fireworks allowed.

Washing RV’s and vehicles is prohibited on site. No candle use inside of cabins.

Smoking, vaping, and marijuana are not allowed in cabins (If any indications of use are detected in cabins you will be charged additional cleaning fees and cost to remove odor)

Please do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.

Illicit drugs are not permitted on campground. (Failure to comply will result in you being asked to leave premises with no refund.)

Marijuana ( including medicinal ) are prohibited. (Failure to comply will result in you being asked to leave premises with no refund.)

MINIMUM STAY: A 3night minimum stay is required for booking on line. A 3night minimum stay is required for certain holiday weekends.

CHECK- IN:

Check-in is from 3:00pm – 9:00pm for all cabins & RV sites unless otherwise discussed with owner.

AFTER HOUR CHECK-IN: Cabins only. If you arrive after hours, you will have a key in the lockbox, a key code will be sent to you prior to your arrival.

CHECK-OUT:

Check out time for cabin and RV’s is 11:00 am. Later check outs may be arranged with owner if there are no other reservations for the day. (Additional fees may apply)

RESERVATIONS & DEPOSITS:

50% deposit is due at time of reservation. This must be paid with a credit / debit card. We must have a card on file for any reservation. Any damages made to cabins or property will be charged back to the renter.

CANCELLATIONS on cabins made 14 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $25.00 service fee. We will refund only 50% of deposit if cancellations are made less than 14 days. No refunds for early departure, weather conditions, acts of nature, voluntary departures or evictions.

QUIET HOURS:

Monday through Thursday 10:00pm-7:00am Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 11:00pm-8:00am

CAMPFIRES:

Fires must be controlled and tended to by an adult No wood is to be added to fire after 10:00pm

Fires must be completely out and doused with water at the end of the evening or any time you are away from your site.

According to Maine’s Open Burning Laws as of 10/25/23 “recreational fire” with flame length greater than 3feet high and 3 feet in diameter require burn permits.

TRASH & RECYCLING:

Please dispose of all trash in the dumpster provided on site Do not burn household trash in fire pit

We provide containers on site for recycling bottles and cans.

PET POLICY:

We are a pet friendly camp however policies must be followed. No cats are allowed.

For the safety of other campers your pet must be kept on a leash at all times.

No more than 2 pets per site.

Pets cannot be tied up outside.

You must have a copy of vaccinations/ or tags must be worn.

There will be a $15 per pet, per day fee.

Owners must collect all pet droppings immediately.

Pet waste stations are available throughout the campground, please dispose in dumpster in a tied doggy bag.

You will be held responsible for any damage or harm caused by your pet

Damages caused to anything inside cabins will result in full replacement charged back to renter.

GOLF CARTS/ATV’S:

Due to insurance liabilities, you must be accompanied by an adult to operate golf carts or ATV’s if you are under the age of 16.

SURVEILLANCE:

For security of our guest and property, we have external cameras located on site with 24-hour surveillance. Tenants are not to tamper with cameras.
